A Man’s Grief for Loss of a Wife – 6 Weeks

1st and 3rd Wednesdays of September, October, and November, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

This online group offers a place where men can meet with other men who have suffered the loss of their wives. Men tend not to like talking about emotions but grieve nonetheless. For many men, the first response to grief is to suppress it, however, there is healing when you can find a safe place, a friend, or a group, where you can talk. Expect open discussion where you learn from each other and from the materials provided. Expect to find others who understand you and want to learn from you.

An Exercise in “Meaning”, Starting with Me

Wednesday, September 25, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

A death leads us to look for meaning. Meaning for the death. Meaning of the person’s life. But we must first look at our own life’s meaning before we can look for meaning for others. Join me for an online workshop in which we will build an outline to timeline your own life. This exercise will leave you with a format to work on for weeks, months, forever if you wish. By looking at your life, you will see all the places where your person intersected with you, as well as before and after this person was present in your life.

Exploring and Affirming Identity in Grief

Wednesday, October 9, 6:00 – 7:30 pm

This ONLINE workshop will explore how grief can affect our identity and values and provide techniques for connecting with self, family, and community.
